What is Bear Necessities?
"Bear Necessities Pediatric Cancer Foundation is a national organization whose mission is to eliminate pediatric cancer and to provide hope and support to those who are touched by it." Their three main programs are small miracles (immediate patient and family services), cancer research, and information and support to cancer patients and their families. They also specialize in fullfiling kids wishes that have cancer. For more information click here.

Why is the money donated to Bear Necessities?
This tournament was founded because of a Strikers F.V. Soccer player who was diagnosed with cancer. He was a very athletic kid and his soccer number and favorite number was 56. In 2009 he lost his battle with cancer. We want this tournament to help end cancer and prevent the sufferings of people with cancer as much as possible. And what better way to do it than organizing a whole soccer tournament, the sport which he loved, to help raise money. So please join this cause to win, have fun, and help end cancer!
